As former Miss Bahamas 1981, Ava Burke-Thompson, Founder of Happily Ava After, has spent over 40 years in the Hospitality and Tourism Industry and over 30 years in the Wedding Industry. With past experience as a Wedding Planner and Senior Manager of Romance, Ava is an expert when it comes to wedding planning in The Bahamas.
Additionally, Ava won the Tourism ICON Award–July 2015 and the BBA Unsung Hero Award–September 2022, and is a member of several reputable associations, such as The Bahamas Bridal Association, The Association of Bridal Consultants and many more.
